Capileira  Sierra Nevada National Park / La Alpujarra

Part of the white village in summertime Situated in the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada on an altitude of almost 1500 m is the ideal location to discover the beauties of the Sierra Nevada National Park and the rural Alpujarra, where most of its wonderful hidden and secret places are still waiting, to be discovered by hikers and mountain bikers.

Walking through the rural Alpujarra, the Sierra Nevada National Park and the impressive ravines like the Barranco de Poqueira, Poqueira Ravine means nature pure in Andalucia,

It's a two hours ride by car Capileira to Malaga Airport, 45 minutes to the beach, at the Costa Tropical with it's beautiful coast towns, Motril, Almuñecar and La Herradura. 

Nerja a small town just beside, but already located on the Costa del Sol is famous for 
it's caves, located in Maro and well worth a visit. The province's capital Granada is at a distance of about one hour by car and nobody who visits this former Moorish kingdom capital should forget to visit the antique palace of the ancient Moorish kinks, probably

Situated in the high mountain folds of Sierra Nevada, the heart of the Sierra Nevada  National Park, you will discover those ancient, white villages mainly build by the Moorish population, more than a thousand years ago, when they reigned  in Al Andaluz. Those beautiful whitewashed Villages, of the grenadine Las Alpujarras, are nowadays well known for local products like, Wine, Ham, Cheese, or handcrafts made of local olive wood, as well as Andalusia and Moorish tradition pottery.
